So I’ve had some pretty bad luck in the past with piercings and thought I would share a story with you. I’ve had 3 separate piercings done before (excluding my ears) and all have rejected/got infected. Maybe it’s something I’m doing, but I’ll share this and let you be the judge. So for my 18th…

I have small/flat nipples as well, but I’ve had mine pierced for 5 years now. The first time, they weren’t done correctly, they healed fine, but they weren’t deep enough, so I took them out. They healed, and I got them done again, the thing is, my piercer put slightly curved barbels in because my nipples are terribly flat, and I know that’s not the norm, but they worked perfectly. After having them in for 5 years, I finally put straight barbels in and they’re fine. I have tiny nipples, so maybe that’s why, but using slightly curved barbels do work with certain people.
